An authentic experience, just a few steps from the sea, in the hinterland of Albenga (20km from Pietra ligure), discovering the farming and wine-growing world of western Liguria
Ormeasco, Granaccia, Rossese, Pigato, Vermentino ....... The Ponente Ligure wine heritage is unique, the product of difficult cultivation among narrow valleys, steep hills and mountains sloping down to the sea, which, in some cases, it is no exaggeration to call heroic.
This wine-growing area is famous for its sandy, calcareous, well-drained and mineral-rich soils, ideal for viticulture. The Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters, and the proximity to the sea give fruity, fresh, saline flavours together with aromatic complexity and balance
The activity consists of a guided visit to a typical winery, with tasting of Ligurian wines paired with local products
