The town of Albenga is about 15 kilometres from Pietra Ligure and is famous for its plain, which offers tasty delicacies such as violet asparagus, oxheart tomatoes, spiny artichoke and trumpet courgette, and its beautiful historic centre, the second largest in Liguria, after that of Genoa.
