One of the most beautiful excursions of the Ligurian Riviera is the trails that leads from Varigotti to Noli passing through the Grotta dei Falsari or dei Briganti
It is an amazing trekking trails (called Pellegrino probably due to the presence of numerous small churches along the way) for the most part overlooking the sea with many naturalistic and historical ideas of interest and above all with spectacular views !!!
The most evocative moment of the excursion is the visit of the "Grotta dei Falsari” (Cave of forgers) or “dei Briganti” (bandits / pirates) , so called because legend says that right here, bandits or smugglers hid their loot and their wares
- The length of the excursion is approximately 9 km (Once you arrive in Noli you can decide to return to Varigotti by bus)
- The difference in height is about 260 meters
- The excursion is also suitable for children, if they are used to walking
